Mrs. Steger, 92, 
Is Buried Today

Mrs. Susie Ann Huckaby Steger, 
92, widow of the late Mr. Billy 
Steger, died early Sunday morning 
on the Williamson-Zebulon road in 
Pike county.  Her death followed 
a short illness.
She was a lifelong resident of 
Pike County.
She is survived by three daughters, 
Mrs. Emma Burney of Tampa; Mrs. 
Hardy Chapman of Shiloh, Ga., Mrs. 
Gladys Carreker of Barnesville; two 
sons, Rob Steger, of Williamson and 
David Steger of Griffin; a sister, Mrs. 
Mollie Foster of Molena; a brother, 
Lowe Huckaby of Byronville, Ga.
Funeral services were conducted 
this afternoon at 3 o'clock from the 
Williamson Methodist Church.  
The Rev. E.C. Murfin and the Rev. 
Cecil Dix officiated.  Burial was 
in the church cemetery.
Haisten Funeral Home was in 
charge of arrangements.
