Friday, July 31, 1903 Mrs. Hattie Reeves Dead Mrs. Hattie Reeves, one of Griffin’s best known ladies, died at her home on Popular street at 6 o’clock Tuesday morning. Mrs. Reeves had been an invalid for a number of years and her death was not unexpected. She went from Griffin to Pike county after her husband’s death and leaves besides numerous family connections a son, Jones Reeves, who is local manager of the Western Union Telegraph Company, at Griffin, and young daughter, Miss Hattie Reeves.
