Friday, July 15, 1904 Accidental Shooting There occurred at Neal Monday a very distressing accident. Two young men, Joe and John Marshall, were shooting a pistol in the yard and as Joe attempted to pull back the hammer the weapon was discharged, the ball taking effect in the abdomen of John Marshall, his brother, from the effects of which he died the following day.
