The Pike County Journal. Zebulon, Pike County, Georgia, January 29, 1897

We learn from the Houston Post of Texas, that Mrs. Fannie D. Peden, wife of 
D.D. Peden, who’s illness appeared in last weeks issue, died on the 20th inst. 
at her home in Texas. Mrs. Peden was once a resident of this county and was 
loved and cherished by all who knew her. She was an active member of the 
Presbyterian church. She leaves two sons and a husband.
