Zebulon, Pike County, Georgia, January 22, 1897 Mr. E. Walker Wright, who is well known to many of our readers, died in Barnesville Monday at 7:30 p.m. He had been suffering from an ingrowing toe nail and was seated in a chair for the purpose of having it cut out. The toe was sprayed with ether and while the doctor was at work, Mr. Wright fell over and never regained consciousness. All efforts to restore life were of no avail. Mr. Wright had become accustomed to using chloral to make him sleep and it is believed that he took an overdose which caused almost instant death.
