The Pike County Journal. Zebulon, Pike County, Georgia, January 22, 1897

Mrs. Annie Owens, 26 years of age, died at the home of her father, Mr. W.T. 
Gresham, in the Second district Monday. Her funeral occurred at the home of Mr. 
T.J. Cadenhead Tuesday at 2 o’clock, conducted by Rev. W.T. Godard of Milner. 
The remains were entered at the family graveyard near Mr. Cadenhead’s home.

Annie Gresham married W.C. Owens on 28 Dec 1887 in Pike County, Georgia.  
She had one known daughter, Willie A. Owens.  
Willie A Owens lives with her grandparents, William J Gresham, after her mother's death.  
Willie married Elmer M. Shackleford.
