Mrs. S.A. Pope Dies

Mrs, S.A Pope, mother of Judge J.S. Pope and Mrs. Dr. Head, died at the home of 
her daughter, Mrs. Sid Bryan, in Covington, last Friday.

Mrs. Pope’s home was in Zebulon with her son Judge J.S. Pope. She left here 
about five weeks ago on a visit to her daughter in Covington. Soon after her 
arrival, she was taken seriously ill and last Friday notice of her death was 
received.

The remains of Mrs. Pope were carried to Barnesville and interred in the 
Greenwood Cemetery.
