Dunn Is Laid to Rest Impressive funeral services for Mr. Roger W. Dunn, prominent Pike county citizen, were held from the Zebulon Baptist church Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. Clifford Walker, pastor, officiated, assisted by Rev. G.C. Burtz, pastor of Zebulon Methodist church. Interment was in the East View cemetery with Haisten Brothers funeral directors in charge. The following gentlemen served as pallbearers: Col. R.C. Johnson, J.A. Corley, Wilbur Johnson, P.M. Sullivan, W.H. Dunn and J.M. Means. Mr. Dunn died at the hospital here Saturday afternoon, after an illness of several weeks. He was one of the outstanding farmers of this section and was a leading preach grower. He was a member of the Baptist Church, and the Montgomery lodge No. 31, F. & A. M. In addition to his widow, he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. W.M. Caldwell and Miss Cloudwye Dunn, of Zebulon; two brothers E.H. Dunn of Macon; and J.R. Dunn, of Zebulon; and a niece, Miss Dorothy Dunn, of Zebulon.
