Cunningham lcunnin1@bellsouth.net November 24, 2002, 11:46 am The Pike County Journal. Zebulon, Pike County, Georgia, June 12, 1896 Mrs. Dominick Dead One of the saddest deaths we have chronicled in some time is that of Mrs. G.D. Dominick, which occurred here on the 6th inst. Mrs. Dominick had been very ill for 105 days. She had the best medical attention and the most faithful and devoted nursing. But God decreed that her life should end, and on the afternoon of the 6th inst., she fell quietly to sleep. The remains were carried to Mt. Olive cemetery for interment. The funeral services being conducted by Rev. J.W. Beck. Mrs. Dominick was married to G.D. Dominick in 1886 and two sweet little girls - Cecil, aged 8 and Celeste, age 3 - blessed their union. She had been a member of the Baptist church for fifteen years and was a noble type of Christian womanhood. She was a noble woman in all respects and her death is a sad event in Zebulon.
