Barnesville, Georgia, August 21, 1890 Death of Mr. C.E. King Mr. C.E. King, who has been sick for sometime at his home on Brown Avenue, died last Friday night. Mr. King was the main leader in the minstrel show, that was given here and at Zebulon some time ago., and was a quiet unassuming gentleman, and had made a great many friends since he had lived here. The funeral services were conducted at his home Sunday afternoon By Rev. W.S. Rogers, after which his body was interred in the Baptist Cemetery. His associates in the minstrel show acted as pall bearers. To his wife and other loved ones, the community offers deepest sympathy in their sorrowing hours.
