OBITUARY: Virginia W. McLeod

       VIRGINIA W. McLEOD Entered into Eternal Rest Thursday, Jan. 22, 1970

    IDABEL, OKLA. (Special) - Virginia W. McLeod, 84, died Thursday in an 
 Idabel hospital. She was a native of Georgia moving to McCurtain County 
 in 1912. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
    Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the Norwood-Welch 
 Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be in the Denison Cemetery.
    Survivors include two sons, J. B. and Aubrey McLeod both of Idabel; 
 four daughters, Mrs. Maye Irons of Edcouch, Tex., Mrs. Raymond Jones of 
 Dallas, Tex., Mrs. Jim Hamilton and Mrs. Cleo Shawhart both of Los 
 Angeles, Calif.; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

  (1) - Marriage record: Mr. Jordan McLeod and Virginia Williamson were 
 united in the Holy Bonds of                 Matrimony by J. D. Carreker 
 on the 13th day of January in the year of our Lord 1901 as
  recorded in Bk C p 14 in Probate Court, Pike Co., Georgia.
