Death of Mr. Boyt

Mr. J.L. Boyt died at his home near Albany, Ga., Jan. 14 of organic heart 
disease.

Mr. Boyt was raised near Barnesville where he has many friends and relatives, 
among the latter his brother, Mr. Abe Boyt of Upson county.

He married Miss Tempie Bush of this county, after whose death he married Miss 
Sallie Morrison, sister of Mrs. Annie Jenkins of this place, and Mr. Willis 
Morrison of Monroe county. His last wife also died about four years ago, leaving

him a second time a widower. He leaves two daughters by his first wife, Mrs. 
John Stephens and Mrs. Tompkins of Albany.

Mr. Boyt was a very successful farmer and in his death Dougherty county loses 
one of its ablest and its citizens and Barnesville one of [unreadable]
