The Barnesville Gazette Barnesville, Ga., Thursday, February 5, 1891

Dr. J.M. Carreker, a prominent physician and citizen of this county is dead. He 
was buried in Zebulon last Monday, with appropriate funeral services by Revs. 
S.R. England and Harry Wells. His death [unreadable] gloom throughout the 
county.
