Death of Mr. Kitchings

It was entirely an oversight that we failed to note the death of Mr. C.W. 
Kitchings in the Gazette last week. His death occurred somewhat unexpectedly at 
his brothers home near Milner on Monday morning, the 9th inst.

The funeral exercises were conducted in the Baptist church here by Rev. W.S. 
Rogers. He spoke of him as a man having faults, but being a good-hearted, 
generous man, who through all his waywardness, claimed to believe in Him who 
died to save sinners. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the community.
