A. Huguley Buried Last Wednesday, the 23rd, the remains of Mr. William A. Huguley were buried in Barnesville. His home was in Eufala Ala. and was on a visit to friends and relations in Barnesville about two weeks ago. Being afflicted he went from here to Birmingham where he died on the 18th, at the residence of his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Riley. Mr. Huguley was, twenty years ago, a citizen of this place and was the oldest son of Mason Huguley formerly of Monroe county. When young the deceased married Miss Epsie Lyon of Upson county, who died in Eufala a few years ago, but her remains were brought here for interment. Her deceased husband is now brought to rest beside her in our cemetery. Mr. Huguley was fifty three years of age, and leaves three sons and two daughters, all of age but one son. A large number of relatives and friends in Barnesville and vicinity mourn his departure. Public sympathy is extended to the bereaved family. Mr. and Mrs. Riley attended the burial here and left Saturday for Eufala where they will reside in the future. (Transcribed 12/6/02 Lynn Cunningham) File size: 1.6 Kb
