An Unexpected Death

The news received in Barnesville last Sunday morning of the death of Mr. Harry 
Smith, several miles from the city, was a surprise to everybody and caused 
universal regret among the people. Very few had heard of his illness, as he had 
been sick only a few days. He died of congestion of the bowels.

Mr. Smith was a young man and was succeeding nicely on his farm. He was making 
money rapidly, and was making friends of everybody. Last year he cleared nine 
hundred dollars on his crop. He had not long ago insured his life for $5500, 
which his family will receive. His estate is probably worth $10,000. He leaves a

wife and several small children who are sympathized with deeply by everyone.
