Williamson, who died Monday night after a long illness, were conducted from the Mt. Gilead Baptist church in Pike county this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. C.B. Bullard, assisted by Rev. J.W. Rawls, officiated. Interment was in the churchyard with Haisten Brothers, funeral directors in charge. Mrs. Williamson who was 80 years of age, died Monday night at 7 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. H.M. Carter near Griffin. She was the widow of the late Martin Spier Williamson and was a life-long resident of Pike county. She had been a member of the Mt. Gilead Baptist church since it was founded. She had been in declining health for several years. She is survived by one son, W.M. Williamson, of Griffin; and two daughters, Mrs. J. L. Green and Mrs. H.M. Carter, both of near Griffin.
