Reid Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock for Mrs. Ella V. Reid, 59, who died Wednesday night at her home at 807 North Thirteenth Street. Mrs. Reid had been in ill health for six weeks. The final rites will be conducted at Haisten's Chapel with Rev. C.B. Bullard officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope cemetery, Pike County. Serving as pallbearers will be Robert Reid, Guy Reid, Grady Peurifoy, Roy Peurifoy, James Gray, Sr., and James Gray, Jr. Mrs. Reid is survived by two daughters, Miss Minnie Reid of Griffin, and Mrs. Roy Peurifoy, Mobile, Ala.; four sons, Robert A Reid, Guy C. Reid, both of Griffin, Pvt Douglas Reid, U.S. Army, Italy and Cpl. James Reid, U.S. Army Aleutian Islands; three sisters, Mrs. A.F. Culpepper, Mrs. J.T. Ross, both of Griffin, and Mrs, C.M.
