The Griffin Daily News. Griffin, Georgia, Sunday Morning, May 6, 1888

Mrs. Isaac Strickland died at her home near Concord, Friday night at nine 
o'clock of cancer of the heart, and will be buried at Hebron Missionary Baptist 
church at ten o'clock today. She was fifty-six years of age and an exemplary 
Christian and leaves three children and seven stepchildren among the latter 
being R.F. Strickland of this place, who with his wife is in attendance at the 
funeral.
