Barnesville, Georgia, August 28, 1890 Death of a Barnesville Man In Texas On August 14th, Mr. Owen J. Willis, son of Mrs. Charlotte Willis of our city, died at his home in Paris, Texas. The cause of his death was typhoid fever. Mr. Willis was well known in this section having lived here until fifteen years ago, when he moved to Texas where he has since lived. At the time of his death, he was in his fortieth year. He leaves a loving wife and four children besides a host of other friends to mourn over his departure, to all of whom, we extend our warmest sympathy. For twenty five years he has been a consistent member of the Baptist church and no doubt his soul is now at rest with his God. (Transcribed 12/1/02 Lynn Cunningham) File size: 1.2 Kb
