Elliott, near Barnesville, after a short illness. Mrs. Phillips was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Z.H. Elliott of Pike County. The funeral was held at the Antioch Baptist church at 2 o’clock Monday afternoon, Rev. A.C. Forrester, of Macon, pastor of Antioch, conducted the service, assisted by Rev. Harry V. Smith, pastor of the First Baptist church of Barnesville. Mrs. Phillips is survived by one sister, Mrs. J.C. Harris, of Atlanta, three brothers, Mr. J.W. Elliott, of Williamson, and Sheriff Z.T. Elliott and Mr. C.C. Elliott of Barnesville. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and other relatives. Mrs. Phillips was a beloved Christian woman and had a large circle of friends, all of whom mourn her death.
