Griffin, Ga., July 28. - (Special) - Mrs. Hattie Reeves, one of Griffin's best known ladies, died at her home on Popular street at 6 o'clock this morning. Mrs. Reeves had been an invalid for a number of years and her death was not unexpected. She came to Griffin from Pike county after her husband's death and leaves beside numerous family connections a son, Jones Reeves, who is local manager of the Western Union Telegraph Company, and a young daughter, Miss Hattie Reeves. The interment will be at the family burying grounds in Pike county tomorrow.
