Reeves, Joseph Milton Reeves  died June 24, 1980
 
Pike County Journal-Reporter, Wednesday, July 2, 1980:

 

Reeves

   Mr. Joseph Milton (Chunk) Reeves, 51, of Route one, Chapman Road, Zebulon, died 
Tuesday night at Upson County Hospital after a short illness.

   Mr. Reeves was a native of Pike County, son of Mrs. Jewell Perkins and the 
late Joseph Horace Reeves.  He was engaged in farming and had served in the 
U.S. Army.  Mr. Reeves was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Pike County.

   He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Helen Ruth Mayo Reeves; daughter, 
Miss Donna Marie Reeves; mother, Mrs. Jewell Perkins Reeves; brother, 
James Bridges Reeves; sister, Mrs. Jeanette Reid, all of Zebulon; 
several nieces and nephews.
