Old Confederate Dies

Mr. L.B. Scoggins, a well-known and beloved Confederate veteran, died at his 
home near Molena last Thursday night and his funeral and burial occurred at the 
family cemetery there last Saturday, Rev. J.E. Barron conducting the service. 
He belonged to the 42nd Georgia regiment, and had a number of comrades through 
this section.
