Sullivan Dies At Concord Thomas Clark Sullivan, prominent 71-year-old Concord citizen and former planter, died at his home in Concord after an illness of several months. Funeral rites were held Thursday morning at 10:90 [sic] from the residence, with Rev. W.G. Harry and Rev. T.J. Espy officiating. Interment was in Friendship Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Mr. Sullivan was a member of the Presbyterian church. Otis Blake, Peden Blake, Dr. R.A. Mallory, George Strickland, C.T. Smith, W.A. Strickland, John B. Madden, Isaac Lewis, Perrin Blake, Preston Edwards, R.W. Hale, and Jim Estes served as pallbearers. Mr. Sullivan was born October 31, 1860, in Meriwether county. He married Miss Eudora Peden in 1886 and during most of his life lived at Pedenville. Closing years of his life were spent with his family in Concord. Survivors include four daughters, Miss Annie Sullivan and Miss Ruth Sullivan, Concord; Mrs. J.V. Cook, Union Point; Mrs. W.C. McArthur, Miami; a son Rev. W.H. Sullivan, Monticello, Ark.; a brother J.W. Sullivan, Houston, Texas; and two grandchildren, Bobby Cook and James Vernon, of Union Point.
