Zebulon, Pike County, Georgia, February 10, 1911 Death of Mrs. D.C. Williams Mrs. David C, Williams died at her home near Zebulon Sunday, being 61 years of age. She was a daughter of Mr. I.S. and Mrs. Phoebe Reid of this county, and was married to David C. Willimas in 1868, and to them were born 11 children, 6 of whom died in infancy. She united with the Congregational Methodist church in early life and was a faithful member until death. She was a good woman, a kind and affectionate wife and mother and loved by her friends. Funeral services were held at the Meansville Congregational church, of which she was a member, Monday, conducted by her pastor, Rev. G.H. English, of Goggins, after which her remains were interred in the New Hope church Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, D.C. Williams, and five children; R.L. Williams, of Center, Ga., J.W. and W.C. Williams of Zebulon; Columbus Williams, of Meansville; DeWitt Williams, of Atlanta; two sisters, Miss Bitha Williams [?] and Mrs. G.E. Lavender of Zebulon and four brothers; Messrs. A.H., J.A., J.B. and Jacob Reid of Zebulon, whose friends sympathize with them in their sorrow.
