Barnesville, Georgia, Thursday, December 21, 1882

Last Wednesday night Mr. James Parker a worthy and industrious young
farmer, and Miss Carrie Wood, a nice young and buxom lass were joined
[in matrimony] together for better or for worse by Rev. Jones Bush, at
the residence of the bride's mother, Mrs. Nancy R. Wood.
