The Barnesville Gazette, Thursday, October 8, 1891

It is said to be a fact that Meansville community has been very much 
interested in the report that one of her citizens, who is somewhere about 
eighty years old was soon to be married. It occurred Sunday. The groom was Mr. 
John Means.


Additional Comments:

John Means and Lucinda Foster were married in Monroe County, Georgia. His 
first wife, Nancy McGinty, died in January of 1891.
