Zebulon, Pike Co., Ga., Friday January 25, 1895

Marriage

Tonight at 7:15 o'clock at the Baptist church in Monticello Mr. W.R.
Scott of Hollonville, will be united in marriage to Miss Ruby Holland of
the former town. Immediately after the ceremony, a reception will be
given the bridal party at the residence of Col. and Mrs. Lewis.

The groom is a son of Z.T. Scott, Hollonville, and a young man of
excellent traits and character, who is now farming near that place where
they will live. The bride is a daughter of J.A. Holland, who lives near
Monticello. She has many relatives and friends in this city, where she
has visited several times and is admired by everyone who knows her for
her many womanly accomplishments.

Mr. Scott was in this city yesterday, on his way to Monticello and
expects to return tomorrow, on his way home. Mr. and Mrs. Scott will
have numerous congratulations. - Griffin News
