Bankston, of Meansville, which was solemnized at the Druid Hills Baptist church last Saturday at one o’clock with Rev. Louie D. Newton, pastor, performing the ceremony. Only close friends of the bride and groom and the immediate family of the groom were in attendance. Mr. Bankston is one of Pike County’s best known young business men, being half owner of the Holloway and Bankston Pimento Pepper Plant at Meansville and prominently connected in other business of the county.. Miss Milner, who formerly lived at Barnesville is known as a young lady of great charm and highly accomplished. She has resided in Atlanta for some time. Immediately after the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Bankston left for a wedding trip to Florida and Cuba. They will be at home to their friends in Meansville after May 15. Mr. and Mrs. J.J. Edwards, of Zebulon and Mrs. Willie Bankston, of Meansville, were the attendants from Pike county.
