Zebulon, Pike County, Georgia, January 3, 1902 Thornton - White At the home of the bride’s father, Mr. J.C. Thornton, at Unionville, Monroe County, on December 26, Mr. Ed. R. White was married to Miss Leonora Thornton. The ceremony was performed by Rev. T.I. Watts, of Forsyth. Mis Thornton is a handsome brunette, and has many friends, while Mr. White is a gentleman who has made friends in all sections of the country, having served in the Spanish American was, and was in Cuba quite a while, He was at one time a student of Jeff Davis Institute, and has many friends here who extend congratulations.
