Friday, September 16, 1904 Manley - Allen Miss Fannie L. Manley, of Hollonville, and Mr. Wade Allen, of Arkansas were married here Monday afternoon by Judge J.W. Means. Mr Allen was here on a visit to Miss Manley and Monday afternoon they drove by Mrs. Ophelia Willis’ and told her to come and see them married, whereupon they came to the Ordinary, secured the license and were united in matrimony by him. Miss Fannie is next to the youngest daughter of Mrs. T.W. Manley and possesses all the virtues of an excellent young woman, and has many friends who love her exceedingly well. Mr. Allen is a sterling business young man and is to be congratulated on winning so estimable a lady. The times along with their many admirers extend best wishes.
