Aiken - Allen

Cards are out announcing the marriage of Mr. W.T. Akin to Miss Maude Allen, 
which will occur on Wednesday, the 22nd inst., at the home of the bride’s 
parents near Zebulon. The wedding will be solemnized in the evening in the 
presence of a number of relatives and friends.

Miss Allen is among Pike’s most estimable young ladies. She is pretty and 
attractive and possesses all the requisite traits that make a loveable and 
charming woman.

Mr. Akin is now an employee of the railway mail service and is a very popular 
and worthy young man. He was born and reared in Pike and his many friends tend 
congratulations.
