Smith - Madden

To the surprise of their many friends, Mr. Julian E. Smith and Miss Anna 
Madden, were married last Tuesday afternoon at 5 o’clock. They were married at 
the home of Rev. Mr. O’Neal at Meriwether county.

Mrs. Smith is to be congratulated, we are sure her choice was a wise one and we 
daresay that if Mr. Smith had searched the country over, he would not have 
found a more perfect young lady. May heaven’s richest blessings be upon them 
and may they always be happy when they remember the 21st day of November 1899.

We trust that when they have reached old age that they can look on memory’s 
canvas and see a picture there painted by the hand of time with the brush of 
love that will make them rejoice.

Mr. and Mrs. Smith will leave for their home at Meigs, Ga., this week. - H.J.H.
