Zebulon, Pike County, Georgia, November 9, 1900 Henslee - Franklin The announcement has been made to the friends of the contracting parties of the marriage of Mr. Atticus H. Henslee, of Griffin, to Miss May Franklin, of Barnesville, which will occur at the residence of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Franklin, on the afternoon of Wednesday, November 28 at 4 o’clock. The ceremony will be witnessed by relatives and immediate friends of the bride and groom, and after the marriage they will leave at once for Griffin. This marriage will unite two popular young people, as Mr. Henslee is a rising young merchant whose high character and integrity have won for him the highest commercial and social standing. Miss Franklin, the bride elect, is a winsome young lady, whose superior accomplishment and mental graces have made her a favorite in her circle of friends.
