Zebulon, Pike County, Georgia, April 16, 1897 A Sunday Marriage For some time past, Miss Bernice Farley has been clerking in the store of her father, L.F. Farley, at Liberty Hill, and so has Mr. Pink English. This propinquity led to a warm friendship and then to feeling even warmer, the final outcome of which was their marriage at Orchard Hill Sunday afternoon by Rev. Marshburn. There may have been parental objection, but this could not have been very strong, as Mr. English still holds his position. The contracting parties are from the best families in the neighborhood, and have the sympathies and congratulations of many friends. - Griffin News (Transcribed 06/18/03 Lynn Cunningham) Additional Comments: Bernice was a daughter of Larken F. Farley. This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/gafiles/ File size: 1.3 Kb
