The Barnesville Gazette, Barnesville, Ga., Thursday, August 6, 1890

Mr. T.M. Matthews left for LaGrange Monday morning, and on Tuesday, his marriage

with Miss Lilarette Young of that city, will be consummated. Miss Young is a 
sister of the ordinary of Troup county and a niece of Thomaston's excellent 
postmaster. The young couple will make a tour of the Northern and Eastern 
States, before returning to their future home in Thomaston.
