Zebulon, Pike County, Georgia, November 22, 1895 Marriage at Hollonville There was a big church wedding at Hollonville last Sunday, at which Mr. James M. Riggins, of Neal, was united to Miss Maggie Scott, daughter of Mr. Z.T. Scott. Rev. E.W. Hammond performed the ceremony in his most happy manner. The blushing and beautiful bride was led to the alter by her father, while the groom marched up on the arm of Prof. Adams. There were a number of attendants, and all faced the audience according to the latest and most sensible form, the minister also having his back turned to the audience. The congratulations were numerous and hearty. (Transcribed 11/14/02 Lynn Cunningham)
