I Addison H. Campbell being in a low state of health but of sound mind and knowing the uncertainty of life and the certainty of death do make this my last will and testament. 1st I will my body to its mother dust and my Soul to the God that made it. 2nd I will and bequeath to my beloved wife Mary Ann Campbell the land on which I now live it being No. 142; on hundred and ten in the Eighth District formerly Monroe now Pike County with all appurtenances thereunto belonging, together with my stock of horses, cattle and hogs and my farming utensils also my Household and Kitchen furniture. 3rd I will to each of my children now living the sum of five Dollars to be paid to each of them by my wife or Executors or Administrators when they arrive at the age of twenty one years 4th I devise and make my wife the sole Executrix of this my last will and Testament In testimony whereof I hereunto set my hand and affix my seal this the 24th of May 1846 Addison H. Campbell Benjamin Trice his mark John McDaniel [possibly John M. Daniel] John Gardner Georgia Pike County We John McDaniel and John Gardner do solemnly swear that we saw Addison H. Campbell sign seal publish and declare this writing to be and contain his last will that at the time thereof he was of Sound disposing mind and memory and that he did it freely without compulsion to the best of our knowledge and that we saw Benjamin Trice sign the same in witness by making his mark this 11th January 1847 John McDaniel[?] John Gardner Attest Wiley E. Mangham CCO Georgia Pike County I Mary A. Campbell do solemnly swear that this writing contains the last true will and Testament of Addison H. Campbell deceased so far as I know or believe and that I will well and truly Execute the same by paying first the debts and then the legacies contained in said will as far as his goods and chattels will thereunto extend and the law charge me, and that I will make a true and perfect inventory of all such goods and chattels so help me God.
