Watts of the County of Monroe, and State aforesaid on the second day of January last for the sum of Three hundred and ninety dollars, and payable to Wm. Fisher or order on the first day of November next and accepted by G. A. Cabanise so paid from the assets of my estate Said note, lien or bond having been made solely for my benefit must be paid by my Executor and Executrix hereinafter named from the assets of my estate. Item Third I give, devise and bequeath to my Nephew Roberts Eppinger Watts, (son of my sister Augusta T. and of Fredrick L. Watts) my Gold watch, chairs, Seals and slides, my nine Silver forks engraved with the family name of Eppinger and my Silver ladle. I also give and bequeath to my nephew Roberts Eppinger Watts all of my beds, bedstead, mattresses, bedding and bed furniture of all descriptions and all of my printed books, and maps, also all of my trunks and boxes and my shell, to him the said Roberts Eppinger Watts forever Item Fourth I give and bequeath to my sister Augusta T. Watts all of my written books, letters and papers without limitation or reserve Item Fifth I give devise and bequeath to my sisters Juliana T. Arnold, Augusta T. Watts and Alethrea F.[?] Willis each , one share to my brothers William [_] Eppinger and Edward M. Eppinger each one share, and to the children of my deceased brother John Eppinger to wit John J. Eppinger and Elizabeth W. Taylor each one share, and to my nephew the said Roberts Eppinger Watts one share of the residue of my estate to them respecting their heirs and assigns forever Item Sixth I hereby constitute and appoint Patrick H. McDowell and Fredrick L. Watts Executors and Augusta T. Watts Executrix of this my last Will and Testament This April 19th 1872. Signed, sealed declared and published by Roberts Eppinger as his last Will and Testament in the presence of us the undersigned who subscribed our names hereto as witnesses in the presence of said Testator at his special instance and request and in the presence of each other Roberts Eppinger April 19th 1872 Abraham S. Caldwell the three subscribing Witnesses on the within Will do solemnly swear that we saw Roberts Eppinger sign, seal and heard him publish and declare this writing to be and contain his Will, and at the time thereof he was of sound disposing mind and memory that he did it freely without compulsion to the best of our knowledge and belief J. Watts do solemnly swear that this writing contains the true and last Will and Testament of Roberts Eppinger deceased so far as I know or believe and that I will well and truly execute the same by paying first the debts and then the legacies contained in said will as far as his goods and chattels will thereunto extend and the law charges me and that I will make a true and perfect inventory of all such goods and chattels.
