J. Foster of said county and state being of sound mind and memory do make this my Last Will and Testament hereby revoking all other heretofore made by me. Item First- It is my will and desire that my Executor hereinafter named pay all of my just debts, if any as soon as he can practically do so after my death. Item Second- It is my will and desire that after the payment of my debts that the remainder of my property be equally divided between all of my children to wit: Julia A. Thompson, R.B. Foster, Rebecca Idella Maddox, Fannie Ada Langford, Sallie Viola Alexander and Carrie Ogletree, all of whom are in life at this time but if any of them should die before I do then it is my will and desire that the children of such take interest of such deceased child or children in my estate. Item Third- I hereby nominate my son R.B. Foster as Executor of this my Last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand, seal – This February 27, 1917 B.J. (XX) Foster (his mark) (L.S.) We the undersigned do hereby certify that B.J. Foster did in our presence signed the foregoing will and at his special instance I request and signed said will as attesting witnesses in the presence an in the presence of each other, and the said B.J. Foster at the time was of sound mind and memory. This February 27, 1917 E.F. Dupree J.R. Chapman S.N. Dickson Before me came J.R. Chapman named as a witness to the within writing, purporting to be B.J. Foster’s last will and being duly sworn, saith that he with E.F. Dupree and S.N. Dickson at the request of B.J. Foster’s will; that the same was signed and published by B.J. Foster in their presence as his last will; that he was at the time of said attestation and signing by him of sound and disposing mind and memory; that he executed the within paper voluntary. J.R. Chapman Sworn to and subscribed before me this 29th day of January 1927 G.B Ridley, Ordinary, Georgia, Pike County I, R.B. Foster, do solemnly swear that this writing contains the true Last Will of B.J. Foster the within named deceased, so for as I know or believe and that I will well and truly execute the same in accordance with the laws of this state. So help me God. R.B.
