Harrison Georgia Pike County I James F. Harrison of the State and County aforesaid being of sound disposing mind and memory do make this my last Will & Testament. Item 1st I give and bequeath to my wife Mary J. Harrison, during her lifetime or widowhood, all the property that I may possess at my death for the benefit of herself and minor children until my youngest child becomes of age, and when my youngest child becomes twenty one years of age, it is my will that all my property be equally divided between all of my children and if my wife (Mary J. Harrison) should remain in widowhood until that time, I will that she shall draw an equal share with the children. Item 2nd In the event that my wife (Mary J. Harrison) should marry or die before my youngest child becomes of age It is my Will that my property then be equally divided between my surviving children. Item 3rd It is my Will that whereas I hold an Insurance Policy in Hudson York Mutual Life Insurance Company The Insurance money due on said policy after my death be used to pay all my indebtedness, burial and other expenses, and that my Executors (herein named) invest the remainder in Real Estate to the best advantage for my wife and children. Item 4th I hereby constitute and appoint my friends John L. Coggin and Josephus Coggin Executor of this my last Will and Testament This the 2nd day of Sept. 1896 James F. Harrison as his last Will and Testament in the presence of us, the subscribers who subscribed our names hereto in the presence of said Testator at his instance and request, and of each other, he signing in our presence and we signing in his presence J. W. Dunbar Sr. E. H. Scott Josephus Coggin State of Georgia County of Pike Before me came J. W. Dunbar Sr. names as a witness to the within writing purporting to be James F. Harrison’s last Will and Testament, who, being duly sworn, says that he with E. H. Scott and Josephus Coggin at the request of James F. Harrison and in his presence, did attest as witnesses, the within writing as his James F. Harrison’s Will that the same was signed and published by James F. Harrison in their presence, as his last Will, that he was at the time of said attestation and signing by himself of sound and disposing mind and memory and that he executed the within paper freely & voluntarily J. W. Dunbar Sr. Sworn to & subscribed before me in open court this December 7th 1896 Thos. J. Blasingame State of Georgia County of Pike We do solemnly swear that this writing contains the true last Will of the within named James F. Jackson in Pike County on 18 Nov 1875.
