I William Anderson of the above named State and County being much afflicted in body, but of sound mind and memory deem it necessary to make a disposition of the earthly goods with which God hath blessed me, hereby revoking all other wills made by me and declare this my last will and Testament. Item 1st I give my body to the dust and my soul to God who gave it. Item 2 It is my desire that my body be buried in a decent manner suitable to my circumstances in life. Item 3 It is my wish that all my just debts be paid. Item 4th I give my beloved a bed and furniture and a note on Matthew Leott(?) for sixty dollars or thereabout and any thing else that may have come by her and nothing more out of my estate. Item 5th I direct that my second daughter Amanda have a bed and furniture and two hundred dollars to make her equal with what I have already given my oldest daughter Levonia Holland. Item 6th My son Mathew is to have a bed and two hundred dollars and two years board and schooling to make him equal with Amanda and Levonia. Item 7th My youngest daughter Martha is to have a bed and two hundred dollars and one years board and schooling to make her equal with the other three thus I direct that the balance of my property be equally divided between my four children before mentioned. Item 8 I hereby appoint my friends William M. Blanton and Josiah Pyron(?) my executors to carry out and execute this my last Will and Testament. William Anderson Signed sealed published and declared this 23rd day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty six in presence of Jas L. Ellis Mathew Anderson Cyrus R. Wilson State of Georgia Pike County We Cyrus R. Wilson and Mathew Anderson do solemnly swear that we saw William Anderson sign seal and heard him publish and declare this writing to be and contain his will and at the time thereof he was of sound disposing mind and memory and that he did it freely without compulsion to the best of our knowledge and we do further swear that we saw James L. Ellis sign the same as witness in our presence and in the presence of the Testator. Mathew Anderson Cyrus R. Wilson Sworn to and subscribed in open court this 4th August 1856 Joseph C. Beckham Ordinary State of Georgia Pike County I Josiah Pyron do solemnly swear that this writing contains the true last will and testament of William Anderson deceased so far as I know or believe and that I will well and truly execute the same by first paying the debts and then the legacies contained in said will as far as his goods and chattels will thereunto extend and the law charges me and that I will make a true and perfect Inventory of all such goods and chattels so help me God Josiah Pyron Sworn to in open court August 4, 1856 Joseph C.
