Sealey of said County. I Peter B. Sealey of said county and State being in feeble health but of sound disposing mind and memory do make declare and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me heretofore made. Item 1 After my death I devise that my family shall have the disposition by burial of my body confidently relying on them for a decent burial and my soul will be with my Savior and God and I humbly trust in God my Redeemer for Salvation. Item 2 I will and bequeath unto my beloved wife Eleanor W. Sealey the house and lot whereon I now live it being lot No. 3 and letter H.(?) in the Town of Zebulon purchased by one of _?_ _?_ together with such other lots or parcels of land as I may be _?_ and possessed of as well as all my household and kitchen furniture and all other property of what kind so ever that I may own at the time of my death for and during her life and at her death to be equally divided between all my children after our daughters Francis Ann and Martha shall each have and receive a bed, bedstead and furniture if not previously given off to them by their mother before her death which amount of furniture is to make them even with their sister Sabrina L. Lynch who has already received a bed bedstead and furniture. Item 3 I hereby nominate and appoint my beloved wife Eleanor W. Sealey and my son John H. Sealey Executor and Executrix of this my last will and Testament with power to sell at any price that they may deem it necessary for the support of my wife and minor children any of the property I may die _?_ and possessed of whether at public or private sale, or at any time they may deem it to the advantage of my wife during her lifetime and for the support of our children after her death they may and are hereby authorized in like manner to dispose of any of said property and to purchase with the proceeds other property the title to my wife during her life and after her death to our children share and share alike. In witness whereof I Peter B. Sealey do hereunto set my hand and seal and publish and declare this writing to be my last will and testament this the Eighteenth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty six. Peter B. Sealey We whose names are hereunto assigned do in accordance with the request of Peter B. Sealey and after having seen him sign seal publish and declare the foregoing writing to contain his last will and testament we hereunto sign the same as witnesses in his presence and in the presence of each other this 18th day of May 1856. Hartford Green John C. Redding John E. Beckham Georgia Pike County We Hartford Green John C. Redding and John E. Beckham do solemnly swear that we saw Peter B. Sealey sign seal and heard him publish and declare this writing to be and contain his last will and testament and at the time thereof he was of sound disposing mind and memory to the best of our knowledge and belief and that we signed the same in the presence of each other and the Testator and that we did it at the request of the Testator. Sealey and (left blank) do solemnly swear that this writing contains the true last will and testament of Peter B. Sealey deceased as far as I know or believe and that I will well and truly execute the same by paying first the debts and then the legacies contained in said will as far as his goods and chattels will thereunto extend and the law charges me and that I will make a true and perfect inventory of all such goods and chattels so help me God Eleanor W.
