I Clarissa Hamrie being weak of body yet of sound and disposing mind and memory do ordain and constitute this my last will and testament. 1st It is my will and desire that my body after my death receive a decent burial. 2nd It is my wish and desire that all my just debts be paid as soon as possible. 3rd It is my wish and desire that my son Aaron Hamrie have all my farming tools and my rifle gun. 4th It is my wish and desire that my two daughters towit Nancy A. Hamrie and Martha Hamrie have all of my house and kitchen furniture except two quilts and one comforter(?) which my son Aaron is to have. 5th It is my wish and desire that my three children towit Aaron Hamrie and Nancy A. Hamrie and Martha Hamrie have my land whereon I now live and all of my stock so long as they want to live together and keep house and when they want to break up housekeeping to sell the land and stock herein specified and make an equal division between Aaron Hamrie and Nancy A. Hamrie and Martha Hamrie and Elizabeth M. Bethune except Elizabeth M. Bethune is to have no part of the stock. 6th It is my wish and desire that my Daughter Mary Terrell have five dollars in money to come out of the sale of the _?_. 7th And lastly I herein ordain and appoint my son Aaron Hamrie the Executor of this my last will and testament. In testimony whereof I hereunto set my hand and affix my seal this 9th April 1850. Clarissa (her mark) Hamrie Signed sealed and delivered in presence of Abraham T. Allen Joseph C. Beckham John W. Reid State of Georgia Pike County We Abraham T. Allen Joseph C. Beckham and John W. Reid do solemnly swear that we saw Clarissa Hamrie (by making her mark) sign and seal and heard her publish and declare this writing to be and contain her will and at the time thereof she was of sound disposing mind and memory and that she did it freely without compulsion to the best of our knowledge and belief. State of Georgia Pike County I Aaron Hamrie do solemnly swear that this writing contains the true last will and testament of Clarissa Hamrie late of said County deceased so far as I know or believe and that I will well and truly execute the same by paying first the debts then the legacies contained in said will as far as her goods and chattels will thereunto extend and the law charges me and that I will make a true and perfect inventory of all such goods and chattels so help me God.
