First: It is my desire that all my lawful debts shall be paid as soon as possible. Second: It is my will and I hereby give and bequeath to my wife Mary Ann all my real and personal property including all the property money and effects of which I may dispossessed of during her life and during her widowhood. Third: After the death of my wife or after the termination of her widowhood by marriage I give and bequeath the whole of said property to my daughter Elizabeth Jackson for her use free from the debts liabilities and contracts of her husband Thos Jackson and as her separate estate. Coggin (seal) Signed sealed & acknowledged & declared by Doctor Marion Coggin as his last will and testament in our presence who have subscribed the same as attesting witnesses in his presence and in the presence of each other and at his request on this the 10th day of August in the year 1876. Coggin and being sworn says that he together with M.C. Cochran and A J Pryor the other witnesses saw D M Coggin sign said paper and heard him declare the same to be his last will and testament and that he signed in their presence and they signed as witnesses in his presence and of each other. That he executed same freely and voluntarily. W.J.
