Item lst I will and bequeath that after my death all my just debts be paid out of any effects by my executors hereinafter named. Item 2nd I will and bequeath to my beloved wife Nancy Pilkinton for and during her life and after death to go to and be equally divided among all my children the following negros to wit Simon Harry Harriett Mack and Judge and the Plantation belonging to me known as the Dominick Plantation containing one hundred and seventy five acres more or less and a sufficiency of stock to furnish said plantation and all the house hold and kitchen furniture that she owned at the time of her marriage with me. Item 3rd My will wish and desire is that the whole of the remainder of my estate of what kind so ever be the same real personal or mixed go to and be equally divided among all my children share and share alike and that the same be made by me executors with as little expense to my estate as the balance of the case will admit of that is with as few orders of count and as few sales as the notice of the case will admit of and all property be divided without sale that can be by doing equal justice to each of my children. Item 4th My will wish and desire is that my friends Green B. M. Blount and Thos J. Levin qualify and act as my Executors to carry this my (blotted out) will into execution, in witness whereof the said Robert Pilkinton has hereunto sat his hand and declaring this writing to contain his last will and Testament this the 11th day of January 1864. Mitchell one of the witnesses who being duly sworn declare that he saw Robert Pilkinton Sign and Publish the within as his last will and testament while of Sound and disposing mind and memory and that he witnesses the same for him at his request and in his presence and of each of the other witnesses and that he same was Executor Voluntarily by him on the day it purports to have been executed in Sworn to before me in Open Court March 1st 1869 John Mitchell J.
