Item 1st I desire my body to be buried in a decent and Christian manner Item 2nd I desire my Executors hereinafter mentioned to deliver to my Grand child Paula Bussey one bed Two pillers [sp] one Bolster one quilt two counter frames [?] three coverlets and two sheets. And to my Grand child Mary Brown one bedstead and bed furniture and my young cow and calf of dun color. Item 3rd I desire my Executors to sell all the residue of Estate at as early a date as they may deem best for the benefit of my heirs and to give of the proceeds [ _ ] of first to each of my two daughters Lavinia Hammil [?]& Para [?] Lee Hammil Ten dollars each and all the residue of my Estate one half to my daughter Francis Brown and the other half to Georgian Bussey Said Legacies not subject to any liabilities of their present or future husbands. Item 4th I desire my Executors to give to my Daughter Georgian Bussey ten dollars in gold and half the silver I now have as a keep sake and to my daughter Francis Brown Seven and a half dollars in gold and the other half of silver for same purpose Item 5th I desire my Executors to finish my present crop and dispose of it as the residue of my Estate to Francis Brown & Georgian Bussey after expenses are paid. Item 6th I hereby nominate my worthy and trusty friends Thompson Graham & A. G. Har [ _ ] Executors to this will Francis Wilkins her mark Signed and Sealed in presence of W. W. Curry Thos. J. Allen Thompson Graham At Chambers Ordinary’s Office Pike County June 18th 1869 Before me came on the 18th of June 1869 at chambers for the purpose of proving the Last Will and Testament of Francis Wilkins the witnesses to said will viz Thos. J. Allen W. W. Curry and Thompson Graham and the will having before me been brought before me for probate by one of the Executors Thompson Graham who has filed his petition for the sale of the same they the said Witnesses depose of the Same that they saw said Francis Wilkins Sign and Publish the same as her last will and on the day and year there stated as executed by her that they witnessed the same at her request and in her presence and in the presence of each other. That the same was voluntarily executed by her while of sound and disposing mind and memory. Thos. J. Allen W. W. Curry Thompson Graham Sworn to and subscribed before me this June 18th 1869 J. J. Harper CCO Pike Court of Ordinary July Term 1869 Ordered that the Will of Francis Wilkins deceased, admitted to record as satisfactorily proven in [ _ ] on form that the Executor Thompson Graham have leave to qualify and [ _ ] So doing that letters Testamentary issue to him Pike Court of Ordinary July Term 1869 I Thompson Graham do solemnly swear that this writing contains the true Last Will of the within named Francis Wilkins de’cd so far as I know or believe and that I will well and truly Execute the same in accordance with the Laws of this State So help me God Thompson Graham Sworn to and Subscribed before me in open court.
