Williams of Said County and State being weak of body but of sound and perfect mind and memory make this my last will and testament in manner and form following to wit - revoking all others made by me heretofore Item 1st My wish and desire is that all my just debts be paid [ by ] my Executor herein after named Item 2nd My desire is for the west half of Lot of Land on which I now Live to belong to my three eldest children Eliza J. Williams Maryann Cook & James M. Williams to remain a joint property until the youngest becomes of age then for them to depose of the Land as they may think proper Item 3rd My wish and desire is for the other half to belong to my wife Amanda and her five children during her natural life or widowhood, but at her death or marriage to be equally divided among the five children last named and as each child becomes of age to be entitled to draw out their part of said land Item 4th My wish and desire is for all the balance of my property both real and personal to be sold and equally divided between my wife and all my children each sharing alike Item 5th I constitute and appoint my friend John W. Reid to be my lawful Executor this October 29th 1869 R. W. Williams Witnesses Giles Driver W. M. Harris J. D. Yarborough William B. Horten Pike County Georgia November 26th 1869 before me came on the 26th Nov 1869 at chamber for the purpose of proving the last will and testament of Richard W. Williams the witnesses to said will viz Giles Driver W. M. Harris J. D. Yarborough & W. B. Horten and the will having been brought before me for probate by the Executor John W. Reid who has filed a petition for probate of the same they the said witnesses depose of the same that they saw said R. W. Williams sign and publish the same as his last will on the day and year then stated as executed by him that they witnessed the same at his request in his presence & in presence of each other that the same was voluntarily executed by him while he was of sound and disposing mind & memory Giles Driver W. M. Harris J. D. Yarborough William R. Horten Sworn to and subscribed before me this 26th November 1869 J. J. Harper Ordy Pike Court of Ordinary Dec. Term 1869 I do solemnly swear that this writing contains the true last will of the within named R. W. Williams decd. So far as I know or believe and that I will [well] and truly execute the same in accordance with the Laws of this State So help me God J. W. Reid Sworn to before me Dec 6th 1869 J. J.
