Thrower of said state and county being in a very infirm state of health and _?_ too of my _?_ to sudden death being at the same time of sound disposing mind and memory do judge it expedient and best to make out accordingly do make and declare and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking and making null and void any former will or wills that may have been by me at anytime heretofore made - First it is my wish that all my just debts and the charge of my funeral be paid and discharged by my executors herein after named and appointed out of my estate as soon as conveniently may be after my decease and I leave the expenses and charges of any funeral to the discretion and distinction of my said executors. Secondly I give devise and dispose all my estate both real and personal, save what will be necessary for the payment of my just debts and funeral charges in the following manner to wit - I give to my daughter Mary Kendrick my Negro girl named Clarisse and her increase and my Negro named Reuben for and during her natural life and then to her children forever free from the debts and liabilities of her husband. I give to my daughter Bethann Kendrick my Negro girl named Jane and her increase and my Negro boy Jerry for and during her natural life and then to her children forever free from the debts and liabilities of her husband. I give to my daughter Sarah Benson the sum of eight hundred dollars in money or Negro property to that value and _?_ at the discretion of my said executors. I give to my daughter Rachael Barnhart my horse bridle and saddle in all of the value of seventy five dollars also my bedstead bed and furniture. I give to my aforesaid daughters Mary Kendrick, Bethann Kendrick, Sarah Benson and Rachael Barnhart all of my household furniture except our Blue Chest(?) _? _ _?_ of the two that I have to be divided equally among them all. I give grant and devise to my son Thomas Thrower all the remainder of all my Negroes and their just increase not herein before mentioned and otherwise disposed of and all the remainder of my estate and property of every description whatever both real and personal which I have not herein fore otherwise disposed of as aforesaid and which shall be left after the payment of my just debts and funeral expenses and of the same. I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my son Thomas Thrower to be executor of this my last will and testament. In testimony whereof I Margaret F. Thrower the testatrix have to this my last will and testament with my hand and affixed my seal the sixth day of March in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and forty seven. Thrower as her last will and testament in the presence of us who have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses there at the request and in the presence of the said Testatrix and in the presence of each other on this day and year aforesaid. Thrower (by making her mark) sign and seal and publish and declare this writing to be and contain her will that at the time thereof she was of sound disposing mind and memory and that she did it freely without compulsion to the best of our knowledge. Mangham State of Georgia Pike County I Thomas Thrower do solemnly swear that this writing contains the true last will and testament of Margaret F. Thrower deceased so far as I know or believe and that I will well and truly execute the same by paying first the debts and then the legacies contained in said will as far as her goods and chattels will thereunto extend and the law charges me and that I will make a true and perfect inventory of all such goods and chattels so help me God. Thrower is thought to be Margaret White born about 1757 in North Carolina. She was married at least twice, once to -?- Williams and secondly to Jerome Thrower. She had a least four daughters by her first husband. Two of those daughters Mary Williams and Bethena Williams married into the Kendrick family. They married two sons of Samuel Kendrick - John (Mary) and Alexander (Bethena). Her son, Thomas Thrower's will was probated in Spalding County in 1878. His youngest son, Rufus A. Thrower married Dora Crawley
